National Cheerleading Competition

On to Nationals! The Highland H.S. squad finished in First Place for the Large Varsity Show Cheer Intermediate, competing with 31 high schools throughout the western United States. They performed their routine flawlessly on back to back days to take the top spot! Way to go Sarah, teammates and coaches!

Greg and I drove over to the Phoenix Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum yesterday to watch Sarah compete with her cheer team from Highland High School. They did a great job and placed second in their division. It was so much fun to watch them! We are very proud of Sarah!!

South Pacific

South Pacific

For Valentines Day, Carma and I saw the musical South Pacific at the Hale Theater. The music and acting were excellent, and it was interesting to re-visit the social issues and language of an earlier era. We really had a great time!

We were at the Comerica Theatre for Brian’s performance Saturday night! Very funny : )
